Reaching Goals doesn't happen overnight?


Today I wanted to share a few thoughts on Goal Setting and reaching goals. I can tell you that most goals go unrealized unless you have a structured approach to reaching them. Take a look at these six steps that can help anyone stay focsussed long enough for a major goal to be acheived.

1. The Golden Hour - It is said that the most successful people in the world have a routine they go through everyday. They do the same thing every day when they wake. For some it is exeercise and a good breakfast, for others a walk and reading the paper over coffee. What they all have in common is consistentcy...They do it every day.

2. Rewrite Major Goals - Successful people write their goals down!. Then they rewrite them daily until a goal is reached.

3. Plan Every Day in Advance - Succesful people are organized and are usually planners. Don't leave the house unless you have looked at your calendar and have a good plan for the day!

4. Listen to Audio Programs - Continued learning is necessary for growth. There is no shortage of content out there on youtube or podcasts. Buy a book on CD and listen while you are driving or on a business trip. This one is easy, you just need to do it...You might actually learn something.

5. Ask Magic Questions - End each day by asking yourself a couple questions. What did I do right? and What would I do differently? If you aks these questions and answer honestly you will grow and make far less mistakes if faced with similar situations in the future.

6. Learn to Appreciate - Learn to appreciate people. You don't usually reach a goal without some help along the way. When you treat others like Great Customers you build relationships that can be mutually beneficial over time. Treat everyone like this...Like the best customer you have.
