Do you use Walmart Lists?

I can't beleive how easy Walmart has made my grocery shopping. When I first started ordering from Walmart and Amazon I was not really sure of a couple things....

First, was I really saving money? Second, was it really saving me time?

The first was easy, we all know the prices online are cheaper. They have cut out the middle man and go direct to your doorstep and deliver for free. The second took me a bit to come around. But I have no doubt that I save time now that I have found the "list" feature of the Walmart site.

I remember in the beginning writing out a list and then serching for each item before adding it to my cart. Well that all changed when I discovered how to add my favorite items to a list. The "list" feature sits right at the top of the order screen on Walmart.com, right next to the gift registry.

Adding items to a list is very simple, you click on the item and right next to the "add to cart" button, is an "add to list" button. I use two lists. I call them "favorites" and "once in a while". Everyhting I have ordered for the past year is in one of these two lists. It will take you time to creat the lists as you order over the coming months. It is wel worth the time to add items as you go...you wont regret it.

Now when I shop, I just open my lists and click away at my favorite items. It literally takes me five minutes to go down the list and order my non-perishable groceries and household essentials. This gives me more time to shop for things I don't need...lol.

There is a way to inventory and set minimums, but I hav not figured that out yet. I am sticking with two lists and getting what I need out of them. I wish Amazon.com would do the same thing, but all they have is a wish list you can put things into. The problem with that is once you order that item, it drops from your wish list.

I also changed the frequency of my orders now that I have the lists built. I used to order one big Walmart order per month. Now my family makes a list on our refrigerator of needed items and I just grab it and make an order every Sunday. Talk about convenience.
