Sunsets and Scenery in Broken Bow

One of my favorite things about the Broken Bow area is the sunsets and scenery. I do not remember a visit when I was not amazed by something in Beavers Bend State Park or the surrounding area. From the Lower Mountain Fork River to Broken Bow Lake. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking at certain times of the day.

Many local Photographers capture these pictures daily and post them on facebook groups and on their personal pages. One of my favorites is Roy Shiro. He always seems to be int he right place at the right time. I love seeing his posts even when I am at home in Frisco, Texas. I bring me right back to Broken Bow and has me checking my calendar to see when I next have a scheduled visit to check on our cabins and enjoy the area.

Below is another view of what the morning looks like on the Lower Mountain Fork river in Beavers Bend State Park in the morning. This is a perfect time for fishing.

The picture below shows a section of the River in the middle of the day. Another one of my favorite things is to just sit fishing in spots like this while I listen to the wind blow the trees on both banks. Nothing is more relaxing and calming.

At the end of each day I love to end by watching the sunset from one of our cabins. All three have a deck facing west that allow for the most amazing sunsets through the trees. Next time you are in the area, take time to slow down and just enjoy the sights that nature provides. They are free and if you take a picture it can last forever.
